Teley-MAB Services

On 31st August 2002, Braille Resource Centre (BRC) launched the MAB weekly announcement service via telephone. This info-line is known as TELEY-MAB. It runs on the direct telephone line number 03-22722687 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 03-22722687 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. The announcements are made every week in three languages, that is, English, Malay and Mandarin.

Teley-MAB has become very popular with the blind. It keeps them posted about the current services and activities of MAB so that they can benefit from them. It is also useful for promoting library books as well as the sales of living aids for the blind.

Malaysia Association of Blind(MAB) volenteers NEED

Hi everybody, we would like to help MAB to look out for volenteers:
(a) Long-Term Volunteers
Contribute in services like home counseling, teaching hobbies, assist in banking/ shopping....

(b)Short-Term Volunteers
Providing services for just a short period of time or just for the immediate project or activity

(c)Librarian Volenteers
-Typing reading materials. (3 language :Bahasa Melayu, Mandrin, English). Using Microsoft Words: font 12, Times New Romans.
-audio reading ( 3 languages). Audio can be read from any reading materials: motivation book, novels, stories book and etc.

Hi Everyone!!

Hi everyone out there, we as the admin would like to say sorry for the long-time-never-update blog...=) As we (admins) are in our very final year final semester, we are quite pack with our schedule...so sorry for that....
